Job Title: Inventory Manager

Position Overview

Nebulon Dynamics is looking for an accomplished Inventory Manager with a proactive detailoriented approach to lead and refine our inventory management function. As a pivotal role within Nebulon Dynamics the Inventory Manager will oversee the inventory control system maintain product availability and ensure inventory accuracy. This individual will work crossdepartmentally to uphold Nebulons commitment to excellence achieving inventory standards that support both daily operations and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Strategy & Oversight:

Develop implement and monitor inventory management strategies that align with Nebulon Dynamics operational and financial goals.

Maintain precise control over stock levels to support production schedules minimize excess and reduce carrying costs directly contributing to Nebulons competitive edge.

Oversee inventory transactions including adjustments stock transfers cycle counts and disposal activities ensuring accuracy and alignment with established protocols.

Demand Planning & Forecasting:

Collaborate with production and procurement teams to anticipate material needs and adjust stock levels based on project timelines seasonal trends and forecasted demand.

Conduct detailed inventory analyses to identify trends support demand planning and recommend adjustments to stock strategies.

Partner with the finance department to align inventory planning with budgetary guidelines assisting in monthly and quarterly forecasting initiatives.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

Assess and refine inventory processes utilizing datadriven insights to improve efficiency accuracy and responsiveness.

Implement robust inventory control procedures establishing protocols to minimize errors and discrepancies while identifying opportunities for automation or technology integration.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the flow of materials streamline ordering processes and reduce overall operational costs.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination:

Coordinate closely with vendors and suppliers establishing expectations for order quantities lead times and quality standards.

Evaluate vendor performance collaborating on improvements to ensure ontime delivery and alignment with Nebulons quality requirements.

Negotiate favorable terms leveraging supplier relationships to enhance Nebulons material sourcing capabilities and costeffectiveness.

Team Leadership & Development:

Build and lead a highperforming inventory team fostering a culture of accountability accuracy and attention to detail.

Provide mentorship and guidance setting clear goals and expectations while encouraging professional growth and development.

Conduct regular performance evaluations leveraging individual strengths to meet departmental and organizational objectives.

Inventory Audits & Reporting:

Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits ensuring records accurately reflect physical stock levels.

Prepare detailed inventory reports for senior management providing insights into stock levels turnover rates and areas for improvement.

Implement corrective actions for discrepancies working with relevant teams to prevent future issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.

5 years of experience in inventory management with a proven track record in a technical manufacturing or engineering environment.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems with a preference for candidates experienced in SAP or similar platforms.

Strong analytical abilities with experience using data to drive decisionmaking improve forecasting and implement process enhancements.

Organizational & ProblemSolving Skills:

Exceptional organizational skills with an aptitude for managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fastpaced setting.

Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to improve efficiency and address inventory challenges.

Communication & Collaboration:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information across departments.

Demonstrated experience collaborating with vendors suppliers and crossfunctional teams to meet project and production goals.

Preferred Certifications:

APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is a plus.
