Requirements
  • Bachelors in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience performing Finite Element Analysis/Stress Calcs on Aircraft Primary Structures
  • Experience with FEMAP preferred, will look at NASTRAN/PATRAN
  • Hand Calcs
  • Wide body Boeing aircraft preferred
  • Aircraft modification experience
  • An MRO background is preferred
  • STCs - Supplemental Type Certificates
  • Experienced working with the Certification and DERs (Designated Engineering Reps)
  • Able to coordinate with design
