Description

Under supervision of the Nurse Manager, provides direct nursing supervision on the unit ensuring comprehensive and quality patient care. The Assistant Nurse Manager assists with day-to-day management of unit operations. This position assists with oversight of clinical and resource utilization, patient throughput, quality assessment and improvement, patient/staff/provider satisfaction, interpretation of policies and procedures, staff education and regulatory compliance. Participates in the selection and evaluation of staff as delegated by the director and/or Nurse Manager.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 3 years Acute care nursing within the last five years.
