MEI has a job opportunity for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in translating conceptual MEP designs into detailed construction documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and modeling using AutoCAD software, with a passion for precision and accuracy.

Job Duties:
- Create accurate and detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop comprehensive construction documents.
- Ensure that all drawings and models adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Assist in the coordination with other disciplines i.e.. Mechanical, Architectural, Civil etc.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and clients.
- Stay updated with the latest software updates and industry best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software. REVIT experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Previous experience working in an MEP firm or similar industry.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings to include but not all required: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Architectural
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) concepts is a plus.
- Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team.
- Top-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills.
