The Innovation and Design Office Operations & Strategy Team is one of several teams within the Innovation and Design Office. The mission of the Innovation and Design Office is to increase the metabolism of the enterprise by fundamentally changing the way we think, work and lead as an organization. This includes guiding and executing on Equitable's end-to-end approach to learning, development, talent strategy, innovation strategy and process improvement.We are looking for a dynamic intern to join our IDO Operations & Strategy team You will partner with IDO Ops team members to problem-solve, design and develop measurable and impactful solutions.Key Responsibilities:Support various initiatives on the IDO Operations & Strategy teamWork on programs that support IDO culture, engagement, wellness and performanceLearn and work with technology tools and vendor management systemsAssist in the facilitating workshopsInternship Details:Dates: Nine week program starting in early June 2026Location: Charlotte, NC, or Syracuse, NY or New York, NYWork Environment: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office)Hourly Rate: $22/hourQualifications:Enrolled as a rising junior or senior in a four-year academic institution, preferably in business administration, economics or financeInterest in the financial services industryInterest in program managementMust be comfortable working in a high-profile, dynamic environment and must be willing to support various projects, often simultaneouslyConsulting experience preferredKnowledge of and strong interest in financial markets, preferredCompetencies and Skills:Problem-solving: Ability to breakdown complex or ambiguous problems into manageable partsEffective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviorsInterpersonal Relationship: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative mannerManaging Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocationDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgmentAbout Equitable:At Equitable, we're a team committed to helping our clients secure their financial well-being so that they can pursue long and fulfilling lives.
