The Opportunity

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide engineering and construction related project management and technical oversight of planning, design, analysis and studies for domestic and international geotechnical and Heavy Civil (Tunnel) projects.
  • Function as a technical specialist supporting project and pursuit teams on Heavy Civil (Tunnel) projects.
  • Mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams on projects of medium to high complexity and be responsible for execution of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support geotechnical and Heavy Civil Business Line projects.
  • Perform site visits of ongoing construction work and oversee geotechnical field investigations, which may require up to 30% field work.
  • Prepare design materials for basic design assignments, including basic analysis, design calculations, equipment research, and sketches.
  • Review manufacturer‘s drawings with respect to B&V design criteria; mark for conformance.
  • Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables.
  • Plan and conduct independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Coordinate design with other personnel working on the same project to minimize design conflicts.
  • Perform special studies or analyses of specific portions of a project; the study includes research, investigation, or coordination.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work for an assigned portion of a major project or the total project of moderate scope.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor‘s degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Certifications

Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
