In this role, you will edit, write, and publish content for the our clients business ecommerce site and supporting marketing channels. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic organization focused on empowering entrepreneurs and small businesses to start, grow, and scale their business.
A successful candidate has a strong understanding of the role of editorial content in the B2B journey and possesses the ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams. They are able work at the program level, by using style guides and experimentation to develop and refine messaging strategies, and at the project level, by using their creative skills to optimize content for each individual campaign or placement. They are a self-starter, comfortable with an ever-changing working environment and are able to think creatively while paying careful attention to every detail and solving problems independently.
Key Job Responsibilities
•Writing and editing short-and long-form copy at the product and brand level
•Collaborating with editor, product tech, legal, SEO, UX, and Creative to create cohesive stories for customers
•Thoroughly proofreading content through various stages of content production
•Support execution of marketing campaigns across email, social, mobile, and onsite
•Builds content in highly engaging formats and has an understanding of how to write engaging content based off of data (bounce rate, CTR, scroll depth, return rate, page views, and similar)
•Produce compelling storytelling-first content, anchored in business outcomes

in B2C or B2B copywriting and be adept at creating compelling content across various channels, including blogs, videos, and emails. This role will collaborate closely with the SEO, Legal, and Web Publishing teams to ensure content is optimized, compliant, and effectively distributed.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and write engaging content for blogs, videos, emails, and other channels to support small business owners and entrepreneurs.
•Collaborate with SEO team to optimize content for search engines and improve organic reach.
•Work with the Legal team to ensure all content complies with relevant regulations and guidelines.
•Partner with the Web Publishing team to ensure timely and accurate content publication.
•Monitor and analyze content performance metrics such as page views, engagement, video consumption, click-through rates, scroll depth, and time spent on page.
•Continuously refine and improve content based on performance data and feedback.
•Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting and content marketing.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in B2C or B2B copywriting.
•Proven ability to write clear, compelling, and engaging content for various channels.
•Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
•Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
•Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
•Strong analytical skills and experience with content performance metrics.
•Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in the small business or entrepreneurial space.
•Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web publishing tools (Quip)
•Knowledge of legal and compliance considerations in content creation.
Software / Tools
•Account Engagement (formerly salesforce) for building/sending email campaigns, will have support from Marketing Ops team but will be working in this platform as it relates to email
•Quip – Similar to Google Docs
•Sonar – Reviewing, building, sending Mobile App Push campaigns
•Content Symphony - Reviewing, building, sending onsite (a.com) campaign
