Director, Global Pricing Analytics, Global Value & Access StrategyThe Director, Global Pricing Analytics, Global Value & Access Strategy (GVAS) role will support the creation of a new Vertex Center of Excellence dedicated to Global Pricing Analytics. As Vertex continues to grow in size and complexity, this newly created team is needed to build industry leading capabilities in Global Pricing Analytics that will assess pricing strategies, measure performance, and deliver actionable insights across regions and across the portfolio. The role reports to Sr. Director, Global Pricing Analytics.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Support development of a Global Pricing Analytics capability to sustain value optimization for the Vertex portfolioServe as the Global Value & Access Strategy subject matter expert on Advanced Analytics, including appropriate integration of Artificial IntelligenceOversee operations for Global Price Governance including continual updating of guidance documents to audit standards, templates and Regional trainingProvide strategic guidance for pricing capability development including lifecycle pricing, contracting strategies, launch sequencing and risk assessment in close cooperation with relevant stakeholdersPartner with key stakeholders, including US and International Market Access, Global Value & Access Strategy, Global Commercial Strategy, Finance, and DTE to support the development of key Global Pricing Analytics deliverablesKnowledge and Skills:Deep working knowledge of both US and ex-US healthcare systems requiredWorking knowledge of US and/or ex-US pricing environment is requiredEntrepreneurial, energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic, decisive, and self-motivated; possesses a sense of urgency with the ability and strong desire to "make things happen"Strong practical, quantitative and analytical skills combined with a sound understanding of how to successfully apply pricing & reimbursement principles to support VertexExcellent working knowledge of the Market Access data sets including MMIT, IQVIA, Pricing / GTN (Model-N), and Real-World Data (DRG, Market Scan, etc.).Experience creating and/or supporting complex analytics and working closely with data scientists and engineersStrong proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI, along with working knowledge of data lake platforms such as Snowflake is a plus.General experience in commercialization and drug developmentExhibits outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively write and deliver presentations to professionals at all levels within VertexDemonstrated relationship building at all levels of the organization and across geographiesRecognized as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills who is flexible and reliableDisplays sound ethics and a fit for Vertex's core valuesEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline8+ years of direct biotechnology / pharmaceutical industry experienceExperience building an analytics platform, including data integration and visualization using tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBIPay Range: $201,200 - $301,800Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
