Responsibilities for the Project Scheduler:

  • Collaborate with project managers and technical experts to establish assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an efficient scheduling management system.
  • Coordinate project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines and deadlines closely.
  • Identify potential project schedule delays and intervene promptly.
  • Evaluate project performance and generate progress reports.
  • Adapt project schedules to accommodate updates and changes.
  • Recommend strategies to ensure projects remain within budget and are completed on schedule.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project timelines and deadlines.
  • Document project scheduling processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Submit project schedule data to relevant stakeholder applications and teams.

Skill Requirements for the Project Scheduler:

  • 2 + years experience as a Project Scheduler with a large organizations and multiple projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project Standard and Professional.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).
  • Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
  • Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple project teams.
  • Understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • ability to work onsite in Nashville, TN
