Responsibilities:

  • Oversee litigation involving revenue cycle disputes, regulatory actions, False Claims Act cases, Stark Law violations, antitrust cases, and disputes arising from hospital acquisitions.
  • Represent a diverse client base including individual physicians, hospitals, drug manufacturers, and diagnostic testing companies in various legal contexts.
  • Develop and implement strategic legal approaches tailored to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.
  • Navigate complex federal and state regulatory frameworks affecting clients' business operations and market objectives.
  • Utilise extensive trial experience to effectively advocate for clients in court, if necessary.

Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school; membership in good standing with the California Bar.
  • Experience in healthcare litigation, with a proven track record of managing and leading complex cases.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare law, including regulations, billing practices, and compliance issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively represent clients in court, including experience with jury trials.
  • Experience with regulatory actions, False Claims Act litigation, Stark Law compliance, antitrust cases, and hospital acquisition disputes.
