Senior Manager, Sales PlanningThe Senior Manager, Sales Planning plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across incentive compensation, call planning, and alignment strategies. This individual partners closely with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver analytical insights and reporting accuracy in support of the Ophthalmic Pharmaceuticals division.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement quarterly sales quotas at the territory, district, and regional levels, based on national forecasts and strategic prioritiesManage and perform incentive compensation "health checks" assessment of fairness, pay for performance, motivation, alignment with strategy, etc.Guide the design and maintenance of weekly scorecards to monitor sales team performanceCreate quarterly payout files to support the payroll department in delivering accurate and timely incentivesPrepare quarterly sign-off documents and insights for review by Business Unit leadersUtilize programming tools (e.g., SAS) to support incentive compensation processes and advanced analyticsOversee staging and quality management of reporting data to ensure integrity and consistency in incentive compensation reportsQualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related field510 years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics, with a strong focus on incentive compensation, call planning, or territory alignmentAdvanced proficiency in SAS, including the ability to program, debug, and execute complex processesSolid knowledge of Excel/VBA; proficiency in SQL and Tableau is a strong plusUnderstanding of incentive compensation operations including goal setting and payout structuresFamiliarity with pharmaceutical sales data used in incentive compensation programsExperience in call planning and territory alignment strategies preferredNote: This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule allowing for up to 2 days/week of telecommuting from home and 3 days/week in our Bridgewater, NJ corporate office.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $170,000.00 and $210,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
