Software Engineer - Level 3 Description not transcribed Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in of the following areas, from an accredited university/college: Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer & Information Security Computer Security and/or Network Administration Or Masters in Computer Science or related field of Science & Technology Minimum Experience: The Software Engineer shall have 5 years of experience in cloud operations and systems administration. The software engineer shall have a proven understanding of software development, engineering, programming languages and tools: Java, Python Ruby, .NET/C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PowerShell, CI/CD Pipelines and the ability to work with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup, XP). The software engineer shall be able to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++, or other programming languages. The software engineer shall have expert knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). Preferred Experience: Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Pivotal Cloud Foundry Docker, OpenStack, and public or AWS GovCloud delivery solutions via AWS and/or Azure. Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the government's discretion Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance required. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $135,000 - $160,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
