Join the Tactical Products Department Signal & Embedded Technologies team, to support implementing system capabilities on mobile platforms for intelligence and surveillance applications.
Objectives of this Role:- Work with multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians in the execution of complex R&D programs in support of national security.
- Oversight of production and assembly projects; working with engineering and technicians to implement design approaches to meet project requirements.
- Interaction with technical staff and customers; interpretation of project technical and management data.
- Collaborate directly with Electrical and Mechanical engineers to develop systems and subsystems electronic hardware.
- Will work in a team environment as well as independently to complete assigned tasks with direct supervision.
- Continually communicate status with program management.
- Production/assembly in accordance with engineering drawings and schematics.
- Coordinating technicians in daily assembly/test tasking.
- Work with engineering team to advise on implementation approaches.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Continued education, soldering and cable crimping certifications preferred.
- 6-10 years: Professional level experience in printed wiring board design.
- 5-10 years: Experience in complex electronics assembly and test; Work knowledge of electronics schematics; Experience in production of military qualified systems and electronics.
- 5-10 years: Leadership skills in relation to leading and mentoring technical staff on production/test activities.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
