Role and Responsibilities:
The Administrative Support Assistant will be responsible for a variety of clerical and customer service tasks, including data entry and documentation.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and document management.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and other software for various administrative tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and community members.
  • Conduct outreach to clients in the community to promote services and gather feedback.
  • Assist with monthly reporting and documentation.
  • Manage the intake process for new clients, including seniors dining in our facilities.
  • Schedule and coordinate volunteers and drivers to ensure service coverage.
  • Cover café sites as needed, providing support and service as required.
  • Deliver Meals on Wheels to clients' homes, ensuring timely and friendly service.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Requirements:
  • No Experience, No Problem
  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work alongside adults with disabled individuals.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, especially when covering café sites or delivering meals.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds for meal delivery and supplies.
  • Manual dexterity for data entry and using office equipment.

Environmental Demands:
  • Work in a variety of settings, including office environments, community facilities, and outdoor locations during meal deliveries.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions when delivering Meals on Wheels.
  • Interaction with diverse populations, requiring adaptability to different client needs.
