MAJOR PURPOSE:

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will execute the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts for a defined set of partners . You will support the performance of SEO to maximize the traffic and revenue captured through natural search for our owned online content while working collaboratively with internal teams (marketing and analytics) to understand campaigns and best maximize on traffic. You will seek-out and develop new forms of technologies for test-and-learn applications to help maintain competitive advantage. You will oversee the reporting data for organic search traffic for the businesses supported, and ensure its accuracy and sharing performance with executives and teams.



MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and Execute partner SEO strategies, monitor KPIs and goal funnels
  • Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates
  • Daily monitoring of important KPIs for SEO channel, including both internal and external data
  • Perform advanced keyword research to help guide content strategy
  • Provide recommendations to partners, execute, and manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals - general and keyword specific
  • Lead link building efforts and work with outreach specialist to ensure a successful off-page link building strategy
  • Perform routine site audits for partners to identify technical SEO fixes and work within CMS (or with web developers) to ensure that website changes are QA’d and working as expected
  • Provide web analytics as needed to understand and diagnose performance shifts over time



CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

  • Strong interest in Online Marketing and Analytics
  • Strong analytical mindset with an ability to think outside the box
  • Experience working with data and the ability to use Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Ideal BA/BS degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business or related discipline
  • 1-2 years performing technical search engine optimization for a high volume consumer website
  • Working knowledge with Google Search Console and SEO platforms such as Yoast, ahref, ScreamingFrog, SEMRush, etc.
  • Experience in short & mid-form content a plus
  • Both A/B Testing experience & web analytics a plus
