Job DescriptionTax Senior Manager - Tax Director (Alternative Investments) Candidates should have a deep understanding of the following: Filing requirements related to alternative investment and/or registered investment companies (RIC's) Partnership taxation to ensure completeness and accuracy of tax compliance and reporting Knowledge of key tax issues associated with alternative investment firms, including tax positions referenced by service providers and the impact of potential legislative and regulatory changes Required Background and Skills: Bachelor's in Accounting or related field; Masters or LLM a plus CPA or Bar 8+ years of tax related experience (prior Big-4 firm experience preferred) Strong oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with leadership and outside partners Strong interpersonal skills required to establish and maintain relationships service providers, team members, or other members of the firm Exceptional excel skills Ability to partner collaboratively with other departments including Finance, Legal Ability to manage and prioritize multiple time sensitive ad hoc projects at once Interest in Improving the tax function by identifying and implementing strategic methodologies or automation tools to improve efficiencies within the department #tax #privateequitytax #partnershiptax #taxjob Job Requirements Alternative Investments, Asset Management Meet Your RecruiterTim Bramley
