This is a full-time on-site MATERIAL CONTROL SUPERVISORS role located in Odessa, TX. Relocation assistance is offered for the right candidate.

The Materials Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse management and control functions for the area of supervision. The supervisor manages staff and day-to-day operations, coordinates training for staff and employees, and makes sure that all shipping / receiving and cycle count processes are accurate and optimized. 


Responsibilities

·     Manage and oversee all aspects of the warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, physical inventory verification, and operational efficiency 


·     Directly responsible for warehouse management HSE programs, promotes safe working environment, and ensures reporting procedures for incidents are followed  


·     Supervise and lead a team of warehouse employees, including scheduling, training, and performance management 


·     Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy, including CI (continuous improvement) initiatives, inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving. Domestic and International.


·     Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations. 


·     Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders 


·     Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements 


Education Requirements

Requires completion of a two year degree; a four year undergraduate degree in supply chain, engineering/applied math, finance/accounting or business is preferred.


Minimum Qualifications

Four years related experience in a warehouse or operations environment and a degree.

Strong computer skills and analytical abilities to resolve problems required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office


 Experience utilizing an ERP & warehousing system is required, SAP knowledge is preferred
