Role Description:

As a Junior Network Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in upholding the security and reliability of the organization’s network infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will revolve around overseeing network security operations within a multi-tenanted enterprise setting. You'll collaborate closely with diverse technical teams and report directly to a Senior Network Architect. Your expertise will encompass various security technologies, including but not limited to:

  • 3-5 years of experience in AWS Security
  • 1-2 years of experience in Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
  • 1-2 years of experience in Akamai Content Delivery Network (Akamai CDN)
  • 1-2 years of experience in Zscaler Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)


Responsibilities:

  • Implement and Manage Security Measures: Deploy and maintain security solutions like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network access control (NAC) mechanisms.
  • Network Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify network vulnerabilities, pinpoint security loopholes, and propose appropriate remediation strategies.
  • Incident Response: React promptly to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and execute necessary countermeasures.


Requirements:

  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
  • Work Location: Hybrid, with one day per week onsite
  • Work Authorization: US Citizens, Dual Citizens
