Legal Department Intern

Responsibilities

  • Updating the spreadsheets on legal ownership of all entities, including tracking all current organizational charts and updating the entity folders to contain all incorporation information and ownership status
  • Track entity creations and deadlines to file BOI reporting
  • File any pending Annual Reports and assist with confirming all filings are complete
  • Prepare a report of all applicable Florida statute changes, including Special Session C as relating to Landlord/Tenants for commercial/residential and 558
  • Follow up with everyone regarding legal tracker updates and requests
  • Assist with CSA and other contract review
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Law degree
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas



Work Hours: Full time or Part Time
