Job Description

Required Technical Skills:

• SQL

Required Experience and Abilities

• Advanced Proficiency with SQL to perform data acquisition, analysis, segmentation, and aggregation from scratch from existing data sources.

• Experience with BI/visualization packages such as Tableau, Excel, Google Sheets

• Strong track record of performing data analysis and modeling using Python (for its rich suite of statistical and modeling libraries like numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) and SQL Quick learner, adaptable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence decision makers and build consensus with teams.

• Experience using statistics and machine learning to solve complex business problems, e.g., propensity for feature adoption, impact on retention, next best action models etc.

• Familiarity with Linux/OS X command line, version control software (git), and general software development


Senior Product Analyst Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize business problems or opportunities, formulate hypotheses and goals, define KPIs and make appropriate recommendations

• Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data anomalies, validate data accuracy, and drive issues to resolution.

• Define and manage SLA for data sets in allocated areas of ownership.

• Document the right source and definition for metrics.

• Lead the gathering of business requirements, analysis of source systems, definition of underlying data sources and transformation requirements, documents data & process flows

• Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards, to drive key business decision

• Automate and simplify self-service or reporting pipelines, including creating and improving ETL workflows, automated monitoring and performance tuning

• Support experimentation, including hypothesis formulation, test development, insight generation/visualization, and action planning
