Mechanical has provided a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial and industrial customers.Plumbing Technical Services LeadPosition OverviewThe Plumbing Technical Services Lead's responsibility is to ensure sure the services we are providing meet G.E. Mechanical plumbing quality standards. As a Plumbing Technical Services Lead you will review work completed by plumbers, provide technical guidance, and confirm ticket completeness. This position fills the gap between completed field work and final customer invoicing to ensure quality and accuracy.ResponsibilitiesReview all plumbing service tickets including time, materials, pictures, and equipment to ensure the work performed matches the written description and meets industry/company standardsCorrespond with technicians to clarify any technical informationReport quality issues or concerns to management, work through resolutions when applicable/directedComplete plumbing quotes based on technician recommendations, unit age/condition, industry standards, and customers' long-term goalsExtract pull-through work from service calls and preventative maintenance visitsPerform quality and cost control of all quoted plumbing projects throughout scope of work to maintain expected standardsDevelop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyaltyCommunicate with customers regarding quoted work and provide knowledgeable and insightful information to enable customer to make an informed decisionFollow up with customers on quoted plumbing work and coordinate with service team if approvedStay current with changing industry standardsWork with team members to facilitate calls, manage workflow, and provide a positive customer journeyMaintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for referenceWork with management to meet company goals and deliverablesMinimum QualificationsEducation/ExperienceHigh School diploma or GEDFive (5) years' experience in mechanical service, mechanical field estimating, or related fieldORBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields and two (2) years' experience in Project Management and/or estimating, at least two (2) years of experience in a leadership role in mechanical service operationsPreferred QualificationsPlumbing or Mechanical Technical ExpertiseField estimating experienceAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentVerbal & written communication skillsAttention to detail and organizationProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & OutlookRewarding Your PerformanceCompetitive salary, commensurate with experienceCompany paid vacation and holidaysCompany health care, vision, & dental benefits401k plan with Company matchCompany paid life insuranceEducation and training provided with monetary incentives available for education courses completedEligible for performance and company-based bonusesG.E.
