If so, RSM's Accounting and Finance Consulting (AFC) is the right fit for youRSM is looking for a Supervisor to join our Accounting and Finance Consulting (AFC) practice with a focus on Inventory and Cost Accounting. Experienced in serving clients with a local, national or international presence, and a number of diverse organizational structures, our professionals can help develop meaningful solutions for your business.Responsibilities:Participate in multiple engagements within the Accounting and Finance Consulting practice to provide financial or business advisory guidance to clientsSupport the AFC team on inventory costing projectsWork collaboratively across service lines to support large inventory projectsDemonstrate basic to intermediate knowledge of complex financial accounting conceptsCommit to maintaining and developing current and effective technical accounting capabilities by leveraging extensive firm resourcesProvide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the consulting work plan and client deliverablesCollaborate directly with the engagement manager and partner and the clientDevelop an understanding of the client's business and industry and begin to recognize key performance drivers, trends and developmentsActively participate with engagement team and function as an in-charge facilitating field work by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignmentAssist in the preparation of technical memos and other client deliverablesIdentify performance improvement opportunitiesUnderstand RSM's service lines and work as a team in providing an integrated service deliveryRecognize and inform management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clientsWillingness to travel 25% of the year, depending on clientsRequired Qualifications:BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree3+ years of current or recent experience working in a role that involved cost accountingGeneral understanding of reporting impact of cost accounting.Preferred Qualifications:CPA or equivalent certificationExperience at a large manufacturer (over $50 million in revenue)Strong operational understanding of the manufacturing process.Experience working with production team to ensure costing aligns with operational process.At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.Compensation Range: $81,400 - $153,500 Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
