Experience:

• 18 months of Hematology/Oncology Unit experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with McKesson is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license prior to placement start.

• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.

The Hematology/Oncology Infusion department sees patients across the malignant disease spectrum, including by not limited to BMT transplant, Heme, GI, GU, thoracic, gyn-Onc, head/neck, sarcoma, and neuro, as well as non-malignant hematology, primarily non-malignant anemia.

Services we provide include IV, SQ, and intravesical chemotherapy/immunotherapy, blood administration, hydration and other symptom management support.

The department has 28 bed/chairs and sees an average of 60 patients a day. The department has a charge RN (not in an assignment) and target staffing is 10 clinical RNs. Each RN can expect to have roughly 6 patients over the course of their shift with a maximum of 3 patients receiving treatment at a time.

IV-start skills are not required.

Maximum days off: 7 days
