Responsibilities:
NetSuite Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the NetSuite accounting system.
- Configure and customize NetSuite to meet specific business needs, ensuring alignment with accounting and finance requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between NetSuite's General Ledger and NetSuite's Planning & Budget module, Stampli, SAP Concur, Salesforce, UKG, and other financial systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Manage data migration projects, ensuring the smooth transfer of financial data into NetSuite.
- Establish, maintain error handling process with knowledge and understanding of remediation success aligning with proper financial reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to understand business processes and identify opportunities for system enhancements.
- Implement and optimize workflows, custom fields, and record types to streamline financial processes.
- Champion various projects to ensure finance and accounting success
- Provide training to end-users on NetSuite functionality, ensuring proper utilization of the system.
- Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and support related to NetSuite accounting issues.
- Develop and implement SuiteScripts to address specific business requirements and enhance system functionality.
- Collaborate with developers and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of custom scripts and applications.
- Stay abreast of NetSuite, Stampli, SAP Concur, Salesforce, and other Accounting systemupdates and new features, evaluating their relevance to the organization.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, making necessary updates to the system.
- Establish, maintain proper data governance controls within the various Accounting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder.
- Proficiency in Stampli, Concur, Salesforce, and UKG recommended
- Ability to manage and execute a project end to end, from requirement gathering, requirement documentation, development, testing, and go live.
- Insurance Agency & Financial Service industry background a plus but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- NetSuite Administrator Certification is a plus.
