What the day will look like as a Reinsurance Broking Analyst

Within Aon‘s Reinsurance Solutions team, gain valuable experience by assisting account executives through both client work and internal projects. With the opportunity to learn and grow as you collaborate with cross-functional teams, you‘ll gain experience and exposure across a broad segment of clients as well.

Our brokers help clients understand, manage and transfer risk through creative solutions. The role is immediately client-facing, offering exposure to high-level executives and decision-makers. Brokers work on multiple accounts as part of a larger broker team, which requires strong communication and collaboration skills. New brokers will develop comprehensive reinsurance market and industry knowledge while working on a variety of lines of business. Over time, colleagues will have increasing opportunities for domestic and international travel to client and reinsurer meetings and to take on expanded roles in developing strategic and innovative solutions for clients.

How this opportunity is different

These roles fall under Aon‘s Early Career Development program, known as Launch. Building on the development colleagues receive in the role they are hired into; the Launch program is a supplemental development program for recent college recruits to mentor and develop future leaders of the firm. This 9-month development program begins every summer and includes in-person sessions, networking opportunities, self-study and global leader calls.

Qualifications:

Graduating between Spring 2024 - Spring 2025 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary for this position is $69,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant‘s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant‘s geographic location.
