We are seeking to add a highly motivated structural engineer to our team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience. The position will entail the design and production of structural systems in residential, commercial, mixed-use and multi-family.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and design analysis
  • Perform construction administration-related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors on the design and construction of projects

Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in the structural engineering field.
  • Must have PE License in Washington State
  • Working knowledge of design & modeling software such as RISA, Revit & AutoCAD.
  • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
  • Knowledge of national building and construction codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, NDS, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience of structural engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Knowledge of multiple types of construction is a plus.
  • Field experience is a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
