They are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Systems Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will develop advanced electromechanical and hydromechanical actuation solutions for commercial and defense aircraft. The role involves creating system architectures, generating technical documentation, designing control systems, characterizing components, and performing system simulations. Additionally, the engineer will manage system requirements and draft specifications to support both current projects and new business opportunities.

Focus:
- Design and develop system architectures that align with specified functionality and performance requirements.
- Conduct system simulation modeling using Matlab/Simulink to predict system response and operational performance.
- Design and implement control systems using Matlab tools and environments.
- Create and maintain detailed system and component requirement specifications, as well as system interface documents, to support software and FPGA-based digital controller development.
- Perform analytical evaluations to define load and performance parameters, aiding in the detailed design of components, major assemblies, and overall system integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to support the design and development of mechanical and electronic systems, from initial proposal through to the qualification phase.
Skill Set:
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Requires 12 years or more of experience in systems engineering.
- Proficiency in requirements management using tools like IBM DOORS.
- In-depth understanding of system engineering principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink for simulation modeling.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
