Currently, they are on the lookout for a Senior ML Scientist who is skilled in Bayesian Optimization/Models and active learning to:


Role: Senior ML Scientist - Bayesian Optimisation


Responsibilities:

Design and scale supervised ML models for active learning and Bayesian Optimization.

Innovate methods for uncertainty quantification.

Combine datasets from multiple fidelities to drive materials discovery.

Collaborate with computational teams to design materials with desired properties.

Work with infrastructure teams for real-time data transfer.

Partner with experimental teams to drive discovery and build acquisition functions.

Maintain cutting-edge expertise through literature review and conferences.

Communicate findings through reports and presentations.


Qualifications:

✅ Experience with uncertainty quantification, active learning, and Bayesian Optimization.

✅ Proficiency in ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Jax) and Python data science tools.

✅ Cloud computing experience for optimizing model training.

✅ PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field with a strong ML focus.

✅ Strong self-starter with excellent communication skills.

✅ Proven industry experience or notable academic achievements.


Preferred Qualifications:

AWS services experience.

Experience integrating ML in experimental workflows.
