HVAC MechanicATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced HVAC Mechanic with an active TOP SECRET clearance. The position requires maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment throughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia.Great Pay and Benefits for an HVAC Mechanic:Competitive pay; $47.39 - $55.00/hour11 annual paid holidays; minimum 13 days of paid leaveMedical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance with 75% of the premiums paid by the companyEmployer paid short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance401(k) plan immediately vesting with 4% employer matchProfessional development assistance including memberships, professional licenses, and tuition reimbursementsDuties and Responsibilities:Adding refrigerant to or removing refrigerant from equipmentInstalling and troubleshooting heating and cooling systemsCutting, welding, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixturesReplacing component and parts (pumps, pipes, fans, etc.)Using power and hand tools safely to support the facilitiesMaintaining air and water treatment systemsInspecting refrigerant systems for leaksReading blueprints & schematics, utility plans, mechanical drawings, and electrical and wiring diagramsEntering data into a Computerized Maintenance Management SystemRequired Qualifications and Experience:Minimum TOP SECRET Clearance required - additional security clearance investigation upon hire may also be requiredJourneyman HVAC or Master HVAC licenseEPA Universal certificationHigh school diploma or equivalentMust demonstrate proficiency with the following:Familiarity with building codes, ordinances and regulations of state and local authorities pertaining to HVACProficiency with ASHRAE standards to include ASHRAE 55 -Thermal Environmental Conditions for Human Occupancy, ASHRAE 62.1 Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, and ASHRAE 180 - Standard Practice for Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC SystemsJob Type: Full-timePay Rate: $47.39 - $55.00/hour depending on role, experience, and benefits selectedLocation: Springfield, VAWorking Hours: Normal Work Hours Monday Friday (anticipate 40 per week)
