Responsibilities: As a Sr. Systems Analyst, you will: • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a collaborative team environment to achieve project goals. • Data Management: Oversee data architecture, design, modeling, implementation, and maintenance of solutions in the clinical data ecosystem. • Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. • Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and alignment with industry standards. • Modeling: Lead the design and development of dimensional data models, implementing best practices in data modeling to support business intelligence and reporting. • ETL Processes: Interpret and write source-to-target mappings (ETL transformation rules) for ETL development. • Governance: Manage metadata and data governance processes. • Communication: Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Technical Skills: • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in systems analysis, with a focus on data warehousing in the healthcare payer sector. • Expertise in dimensional modeling and SQL. • Extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting. • Experience with DB2, ETL tools (Ab Initio), and reporting tools (Cognos, Tableau). • Proficiency in data architecture and design, including Erwin. • Knowledge of the healthcare payer industry (claims, enrollment, and clinical decision support systems). Soft Skills: • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to lead and mentor a technical team. • Strong collaboration and team-building abilities.
