Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Engineer specializing in Mechatronics and Motion to join our dynamic team. As an Embedded Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and testing of embedded systems for our innovative projects. This is a hybrid remote position.  When dealing with hardware, working in the lab is required. Some travel may be required. 


Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and debug embedded systems for mechatronics and motion control applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.

- Implement embedded software in C, C++, and Python for real-time control of electromechanical systems.

- Utilize test equipment to verify and validate system performance.

- Build prototypes and conduct thorough testing to ensure robustness and reliability.

- Interface with CAN and serial protocols for communication with external devices.

- Contribute to the design and integration of power electronics into embedded systems.


Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded engineering with a focus on mechatronics and motion control.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Proficiency in some of the following areas

- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages.

- Experience with test equipment and prototype building.

- Familiarity with CAN and serial protocols for communication.

- Knowledge of power electronics principles and their application in embedded systems.
