RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data entry for payroll processing
  • Conducting payroll audits to ensure accuracy
  • Managing expense reports and reimbursements
  • Handling employee deductions and balancing accounts
  • Processing new hire paperwork
  • Calculating wage garnishments and issuing paystubs
  • Managing 401k changes and deductions
  • Handling terminations and final paycheck deductions
  • Experience with certified payroll and familiarity with Davis Bacon/Prevailing wages is advantageous
  • Coordinating fingerprint appointments for background checks
  • Providing backup support for HR tasks such as onboarding and terminations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Familiarity with ZOHO software is preferred
  • Must successfully pass background and drug screenings
  • Availability to work in-office Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime
