This role is responsible for aligning digital systems with member experience, business growth, and data-driven decision-making. It provides cross-functional leadership across applications, data, and product stakeholders while ensuring the organization's digital technology stack is scalable, performant, and innovative. This role is both strategic and operational ideal for a digital leader with strong technical acumen, platform ownership experience, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex environments.This position is not available to residents of California.ResponsibilitiesDigital Platform Leadership & GovernanceOversee the full lifecycle of key digital platforms including: CMS, Search, Ecommerce, Personalization and Customer Data Platform, Community Forum, Chat, LMS, Events, Chapter Management, Volunteer, and Nominations platformsEstablish clear platform ownership, roadmap planning, and governance frameworks across all digital systemsServe as a key digital partner to the Director of Applications & QA and Director of Enterprise Data & AnalyticsCross-Functional OversightDrive coordination and strategic alignment across applications, QA, integrations, data, and analytics teams to support digital roadmap executionGuide the planning and rollout of new or evolving platforms, ensuring alignment with member needs and business outcomesProvide platform strategy input during enterprise planning, vendor selection, and implementation effortsDigital Analytics & TaggingLead digital tagging, funnel reporting, and analytics architecture (GA4, GTM, CDP)Partner with Data & Analytics to deliver actionable reporting on user behavior, performance KPIs, and member engagementEnable measurement frameworks for personalization and content targetingAI & Personalization StrategyDrive experimentation and implementation of AI use cases related to customer experience, reporting, and engagementCollaborate with the CIO and Strategic Operations on the future of AI-enhanced analytics and member segmentationTeam LeadershipBuild and manage a high-performing team including:Manager of Enterprise ApplicationsWeb Analytics & Tagging LeadCommunity & Engagement Platforms OwnerProvide mentorship and technical guidance across assigned platforms and staffQualificationsProven success managing complex digital ecosystems with multiple internal and external development partnersStrong knowledge of web platforms (CMS, ecommerce, personalization, analytics, search, chat, LMS)Excellent cross-functional leadership, communication, and vendor management skillsFamiliarity with agile delivery frameworks and SDLC governance practicesStrategic thinker who can translate vision into actionHighly organized with strong follow-through on executionComfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environmentStrong influencing skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teamsCommitted to building a member-first, data-informed culture of digital excellenceEducation and Work ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or related field; Master's degree in technology or related field, preferred15+ years of experience in digital technology, with at least 7 years in digital platform leadership rolesExperience in platform governance, roadmap execution, and lifecycle managementExperience with digital tagging architecture (GA4, GTM) and data-driven reportingExperience with standing up an AI architecture to support productivityExperience in AI-driven personalization, member segmentation, or behavioral analyticsBackground working with Salesforce-integrated platforms or headless CMS architectureExposure to managing or scaling community, learning, or events platformsPhysical and Mental DemandsUp to 20% travel required.Work normal business hours and extended hours when necessary.Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods.Regular use of office equipment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic as protected by applicable law.
