Job Responsibilities Exposure to various international specialties in our industry, for example: Transfer pricing planning, implementation, and documentation Foreign businesses expanding to the U.S US businesses expanding internationally Inbound real estate investments Investment, Hedge, and PE fund structuring Foreign "Voluntary Disclosure" projects IP migration strategies Expatriate and inpatriate tax planning International tax compliance review for outbound and inbound clients and businesses Foreign tax credit analysis and documentation FDII and GILTI planning Value Added Tax and indirect tax Crypto asset planning Assist partners on international clients with all facets of international tax consulting and compliance qualify control (QC) Work directly with clients on international matters Performing international tax research and planning for clients of the firm Assist with business development/identify opportunities Develop and nurture long-term relationships with client senior management Review or conduct high level research of complex or emerging tax issues and prepare memorandums to support conclusions Identify assignment resource requirements and ensure the most appropriate resources are assigned to specific assignment roles Continually build on technical expertise in taxation by attending continuing professional education courses or utilizing other training resource Keep current with tax law changes and provide updates and training to the firm's tax practice members Train and develop less experienced individuals responsible for engagement management responsibilities, including managing budgets, scheduling and staffing, due date management and client relations Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline CPA or equivalent credential Minimum of 6 years' experience in tax consulting/compliance within public accounting with a focus in International Tax, including but not limited to working on forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858 and 1118 Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role involving clients and team members Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Taxation "Armanino" is the brand name under which Armanino LLP, Armanino CPA LLP, and Armanino Advisory LLC, independently owned entities, provide professional services in an alternative practice structure in accordance with law, regulations, and professional standards.
