Solenis is a 2024 US Best Managed Company, recognized four years in a row.The role of Key Account Manager is to become an Area Manager within the next two years. The primary responsibility is to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service provided, identifying new product opportunities, and selling to existing customers. The focus is to maintain revenue, price capture, and improve gross profit.The job requires considerable knowledge of the field, complete acquaintance with the general aspects and technical phases of the job, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Independently performs non-routine and moderately complex assignments, researching, processing, and analyzing data, and may develop recommendations. Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data. May provide leadership, direction, to lower level employees. In technical or production positions, may determine methods, operations, sequences; develops and/or modifies products and equipment to requirements.The role impacts the work of others and potentially, if not caught, at section level. Contributes to and supports the completion of major organization activity. Erroneous work would have negative impact.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily management of the safety, quality, delivery, and inventory of applications at a large key customer in Dallas, TXSupport and perform standard work as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs, generate weekly and monthly reports, maintain inventory, order materials, equipment uptimePerform data analysis on program performanceAssist with customer technical issues, bring issues to the customers attention and work with area and district managers to put together a plan for corrective actionBuild strong customer relationshipsPursue growth and swap opportunities to maximize customer valueParticipate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledgeQualifications:Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Chemical and Paper strongly preferred)Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skillsAbility to build client relationships easilyAnalytical ability and great problem-solving skillsPresentation skills and ability to convey product valueHigh-level organizational skills for maintaining sales of complex product portfolioSelf-confidence to support persuasion and sales effortsMust have a valid Drivers License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordAbility to occasionally lift and carry 50 poundsTravel to our customer paper mill sitesPerksCompetitive health + wellness benefit planContinuous professional development with many opportunities for growthRecharge with paid time offCompany CarCompetitive Salary and bonusWe understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
