Inventory Control SupervisorAs an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will lead and oversee inventory control operations in a 3PL warehouse environment. Your role is critical in minimizing inventory discrepancies and supporting operational efficiency.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure all products are properly accounted for and inventory levels are maintained with the highest degree of accuracy.Supervise inventory control staff, coordinate warehouse operations, and collaborate with management to develop and enforce inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices.Supervise daily inventory control activities including counting, recording, and verifying stock levels.Lead efforts to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies and root cause issues.Ensure accurate and timely updates to inventory records in warehouse management systems (WMS).Schedule and oversee regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.Generate, analyze, and present reports on inventory levels, variances, and trends.Train, coach, and evaluate inventory control staff to ensure compliance with procedures and improve performance.Collaborate with warehouse leadership to align inventory practices with operational goals.Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized inventory area in accordance with company standards.Comply with the requirements of the company's Quality Management System.Required Skills, Experience, and Education:High school diploma2-4+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics industrySupervisory or leadership experienceProficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control softwareDesired Skills, Experience, and Education:Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to perform and oversee mathematical inventory calculations and data analysis.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work under pressure.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Understanding safety standards and regulatory compliance related to inventory management.Physical Requirements:Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 poundsRemain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.Pegasus Logistics Group is breaking the mold and we want employees as passionate and diverse as we are.Pegasus Logistics Group is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
