Sales AssociateWe are looking for a retail Sales Associate (part-time) to join our CAMP team You will be responsible for guiding CAMP's families through our retail experience, ensuring they have a magical experience and want to return This includes:Bring the CAMP brand to life. Provide a fully immersive experience for customers of all ages by:Engaging in conversations with families about what they are interested in and for what ages and introducing them to relevant items as well as items they didn't know they want or need, ultimately leading to purchasesWelcoming every guest who walks into our store with a custom greeting and performing your own magic door entrancePlaying with and engaging families as they journey through the CAMP experienceDemoing and playing with productsWorking at the crafting or slime barCustomizing personal shopping experiences for each family based on their interests and what they'd like to bring home that day.Checking families out at the register and letting them know about upcoming programs or other CAMP newsAchieve sales targets and KPI's through consistent commitment to providing best in class selling experiencesBuild repeat customer base by creating a selling culture that is approachable, unique and tailored to individual customer needsSupport a positive and productive work environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity, teamwork, creativity and a passion for the Camp brandAssist in merchandising and replenishing the sales floor to ensure the store is fully stocked and always customer readyCommunicate customer and store needs to General Manager and store leadership to ensure the store operates efficiently at all timesAssist with Back of House tasks to ensure organized and efficient store operationsSupport the General Manager and leadership team with goal achievement (KPIs)You will report to the General Manager (GM) of your home store locationOther duties as assignedWhat is required?Ability to work at least one weekend day/week, but ideally bothThis role is part-time, and you will be working approximately up to 25 hours / each weekPositive attitude in all situationsPassion for selling and working with peoplePrior work experience in any of the following areas: retail, child-care, child development/education, performing arts.Excellence, enthusiasm, and excitement around engaging with children and families creatively.Desire to be part of a tight-knit team looking to transform the traditional retail experience.Patience, warmth, joy, and humor.Bonus but not required: you may have hidden talents that can add magical moments to our retail experience.18 years of age or olderAuthorized to work in the USWhat are the physical demands?Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights (may be climbing up and down a ladder)Exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, precipitation, and windRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the storeAbility to safely operate manual and electrical equipment from time to timeAble to be on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift and to continuously move around all areas of the storeKneeling and squatting from time to time when engaging children or stocking/restocking shelvesCompensation: $14.00/hrWe provide our team with the following perks:Employee Assistance Program: offers support around Education, Legal and Financial Planning, Career Development, Lifestyle and Fitness Management, Mental Health, and Dependent Care20% off all merchandise at CAMP's retail stores1.5 pay on the following holidays: Independence Day, Labor Day, New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth
