Role : SQL Server DB Location: 100% Remote Contract Duration: Initial contract 3-6 months, likely extension for the right person Must Have Skills: (Please note where they have the following and note the areas where they might be light) Required Skills & Experience 5-7 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA (mid to senior level) Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration and optimization Strong knowledge of SQL Server Clustering and high availability Experience working in a Windows-based SQL Server environment Familiarity with Redgate tools and database monitoring solutions like Logic Monitor Basic PowerShell scripting for automation Exposure to cloud environments (Azure preferred but not required) Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with advanced SQL Server features (Materialized Views, Data Compression, In-Memory OLTP, Advanced Indexing) dditional experience with Redgate tools for database automation and monitoring Why SILAC Insurance: SILAC Insurance Company is a life insurance provider based in Salt Lake City, Utah, specializing in annuity products for retirement planning.
