As a Software Relationship Manager (SRM) you will report to a District Manager and receive coaching from a Director. Activities include explaining our value proposition and demonstrating our cloud based Point of Sale solution, upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.Job DutiesYour role as a SRM is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area. You will work closely with your local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships that you build. You will then run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses.During the training period, your District Manager will accompany you on your initial appointments to train you on our short-cycle sales process using our CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on the spot client financial analysis and paperless contract processing.Additional ResponsibilitiesResponsible for prospecting new clients.Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently Atlas.Responsible for achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure quota.Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry, to remain up-to-date.Attend weekly team meeting and weekly one-on-one with leader.Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Desired Skills & CapabilitiesExcellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skillsWorks well independently and as part of a teamIncentive-driven sales "hunter"Professional demeanor and impeccable integrityHigh sense of urgency and innate sales talentEnjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to faceKnowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plusMinimum Qualifications18 years of age or olderThis position requires regular short-distance travel to visit client sitesCompletion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employmentLive in area relative to job posting locationAbility to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the timePreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma/GEDAt least two years of relevant experienceCompetenciesAwarenessDrivenResilientRespectfulCommittednessBenefitsHeartland, A Global Payments Company offers a comprehensive benefits package to all of our team members, including medical, dental and vision care, EAP programs, paid time off, recognition programs, retirement and investment options, charitable gift matching programs, and worldwide days of service.CompensationReady to grow your career and your paycheck?
