Job Description:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed weekly and/or monthly reports on financial performance, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide critical analysis to support informed decision-making by the C-suite.
  • Loan Management: Oversee the entire loan process from sourcing to completion. Continue managing the credit facility and updating the borrowing base.
  • Capitalization Management: Collaborate with the VP of Finance and CFO to manage and underwrite other homebuilding capitalization efforts, including land banking and joint ventures.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to financial covenants by implementing necessary reporting, policies, and procedures.
  • Capital Needs Analysis: Analyze short-term and long-term capital requirements for a large-scale homebuilder with over $1 billion in revenue across four markets.
  • Pipeline Reporting: Report on the existing pipeline of land deals, including future deals and potential acquisitions in other markets.
  • Team Leadership: Assist in leading the finance team by providing guidance and training. This role may involve mentoring and developing staff.
