Ingersoll Rand offers a Machinist Internship program for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in the manufacturing environment. This internship provides an opportunity to learn about precision machining, operate CNC machines, and contribute to the production of high-quality industrial components. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a technical or vocational program related to machining, manufacturing, or a similar field (or equivalent experience) Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with machinery A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality Ability to learn and follow safety protocols in a manufacturing setting Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and blueprint reading (a plus) Basic computer literacy (familiarity with CNC software is preferable) Responsibilities: Assist machinists with machine setup, operation, and maintenance tasks Learn to operate CNC machines. Perform basic machining operations under supervision. Inspect parts for quality and accuracy using measuring tools and instruments Maintain a clean and organized work area Contribute to data collection and documentation of machining processes. Gain valuable hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment Learn from experienced machinists and develop practical skills Apply classroom knowledge to real-world production processes J-18808-Ljbffr
