Hercules Concrete is currently seeking an Account Representative to work out of our facility in Warren, MI. The Account Representative pursues and cultivates new business relationships while working hands-on with our plant operations.


What we do:

We are a concrete / ready mix supplier in Metro Detroit. Essentially, we have an aggregate division and 6 concrete plants. Our Aggregate team picks up and delivers materials to our concrete plants. From there, we make or "batch" concrete and then deliver it to our customers (usually at commercial job sites).


The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of sales experience (preferred but not required)
  • An understanding of the ready mix concrete industry
  • Excellent organizational skills, and is able to prioritize a continually changing workload
  • An aggressive and competitive nature to drive sales growth
  • The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Commercial and residential sales of our product and services
  • Creating work orders
  • Assisting with plant operations to ensure customer receives highest quality product and service
  • Calling on new and existing customers to drive sales growth
  • Interfacing with plant management, dispatch and customers on a daily basis
  • About 25% travel (heavier in the Summer, lighter in the winter)


Supplemental Benefits:

  • $120 / month Truck Allowance or a company truck
  • Expense report for business miles and reimbursement of $0 .17 / mile.

With that being said, we plan to continue expanding, so there are great promotional opportunities within the company We went from one plant and five drivers in 2020, to six plants, about 80 drivers and an aggregate division today.
