The Administrative Professional 2 is a key role at the Board. In this position, you will be responsible for:* Assisting leadership of the Office of Professional Conduct (OPC) with routine administrative duties.* Making recommendations regarding operational activities.* Assisting office leadership by responding to office emails.* Preparing, completing and distributing letters to educators, administrators, and employing Local Education Agencies.* Preparing outgoing mail in compliance with office policies and applicable law.* Scanning and uploading incoming mail to the relevant case.* Serving as liaison with the Contact Center to ensure accurate responses to inquiries from educators.* Drafting and issuing non-disciplinary letters to Respondents.* Providing technical information and advice to administrators and office staff to aid in decision making.* Assisting in developing new procedures related to established office policy including making recommendations for improvements in office workflow.* Serving as liaison between administrator and subordinates, transmitting decisions and directives.* Managing the business functions of the offices including coordinating, scheduling and securing agendas for meetings.* Scheduling witness interviews on behalf of staff attorneys.* Facilitating travel arrangements including coordinating airline, hotel, conference and ground transportation details, preparing and tracking travel reimbursements.* Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college.* Or 18 months experience or 18 months training in secretarial/administrative professional field.* Or 6 months experience as Administrative Professional 1, 16871.* Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.Job Skills: Administrative Support/Services Learn More
