With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).A day in the life.As our Risk Control Consultant on the Risk Management team, you'll deliver value added risk control services to assigned commercial clients in service territory or industry vertical. You'll also assist Producers in the acquisition and retention of business.Our future colleague.We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:Bachelor's DegreeFive years of experience in a risk management consulting position either in private industry or Insurance company capacity or equivalent education and related trainingEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel in assigned territory including overnight on a regular basisProblem solving ability and negotiating skills working with senior level client staffAbove average interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team-based environmentGoal and result orientedAbility to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervisionThese additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:Associate in Risk Management (ARM); Associate Safety Professional (ASP); Certified Safety Professional (CSP); Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or other nationally recognized safety certificationExperience in multi-line coverage and target industry business groups as defined by McGriff marketing departmentExperience using RMIS systems and databasesWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
