Job Description:
- The Program Manager will work with the NYC Digital Service team to organize plan and track work streams to deliver nyc.gov redesign and other projects as needed.
- The project manager will be involved in stakeholder and working team meetings. All ongoing work and deliverables will be reviewed together with the NYC Digital Service Design team.
- Manage work streams for the build of nyc.gov core to deliver highquality digital experiences on time.
- Establish track project deliverables and help mitigate obstacles in executing a work plan for project activities sprints or phases.
- Lead and manage sprint planning and task management.
- Monitor project activities document agreements communicate with project stakeholders and escalate issues on a timely basis.
- Establish deadlines and monitor the progress of the project following up with relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings with teams and stakeholders with clear prioritized agendas provide timely recaps and drive resolution of next steps
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing web projects
- Demonstrated experience helping drive websites and web features to launch with attention to detail and quality user experiences.
- Deep knowledge of agile project management practices with experience leading sprints in a large organization and proactive planning.
- Experience pairing with other disciples to launch digital tools and services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate and work with leadership experts and decision makers crossfunctionally and across teams coaching teams to drive outcomes.
- Knowledge of agile ways of working and modern software development practices.
- Experience setting up project management processes for cross functional teams that have various ways of working
