Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving process improvements across our manufacturing operations to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality. You will work closely with various departments to identify opportunities for improvement, develop and implement strategies, and monitor progress to achieve operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute process changes.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of improvement initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide training and support to staff on continuous improvement practices and tools.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions and root cause analysis to address process issues.
  • Prepare and present reports on improvement activities, progress, and outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and process optimization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement tools.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus.
