Construction Estimator

Required Skills:

  • 3 plus years of industry related work, and proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
  • Ability to read and understand bid documents, including design drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience in civil construction and site development reading of civil blueprints
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Provide a quality take-off to determine quantities, scope of work and required contents of the project.
  • Collect pricing from vendors/subcontractors based on bid guidelines and create a rough project schedule.
  • Provide value engineering. Review project addendums.
  • Prepare cost estimates for projects or services for bidding civil projects.
