Paramedic Job Summary

Provide emergent and non-emergent medical care to patients being transported by PT-1 Ambulance. Respond to BLS, ALS, and CCT calls and provide high quality life support in accordance with CA Title 22, local scope of practice and PT-1 policy.

Job Responsibilities
  • Respond to BLS, ALS, and CCT emergent and non-emergent transports and scene calls
  • Provide basic and advanced life support in accordance with CA Title 22, local scope of practice and PT-1 policy
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program
  • Valid California driver's license
  • EMT-P certification
  • CPR through the American Heart Association
  • PALS or PHTLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • California Ambulance Driver Certificate (DL 61)
  • DL51 (Medical Examiners Certificate)
