Your Role as a Respiratory Therapist:
As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you ll provide expert respiratory care to our residents, including those requiring ventilators, tracheostomy care, and oxygen therapy. You ll collaborate with a skilled interdisciplinary team to enhance residents health and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct respiratory assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer therapies like oxygen, nebulizers, and ventilator management.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as ABG analysis and pulmonary function tests.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care and equipment use.
  • Document care interventions and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed or Registered Respiratory Therapist (LRT or RRT) in Wisconsin.
  • Associate or Bachelor s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Working Hours:
Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities, with potential on-call requirements based on resident needs.
