Inventory Control Analyst

Responsibilities – Duties:

• Subject matter expert on MRP/ERP systems (JDE, WMS, etc.), able to develop training on systems and train others

• Monitors and maintains the integrity of current inventory levels, maintains records of all inventory, and investigates inventory shortages and discrepancies on a daily and weekly basis

• Ability to demonstrate substantial competence in performing inventory transactions, recognizing inaccuracies and capability to resolve inventory issues in ERP & WMS systems with communication to all affected individuals/departments

• Maintain accurate inventory records across the supply chain, including individual records involving variances and inventory processing errors

• Record cycle counts, maintain database(s), coordinate and/or perform physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock to computer-generated reports

• Actively pursues and implements industry best practices for inventory maintenance, reconciliations, and systems

• Develops, maintains, and evaluates queries and reports to pulls system data for internal and external inventory activities and routes effectively to productivity, supply chain, inventory control, EOE, and finance so data integrity and traceability are maintained

• Develop new applications and tools as well as ad hoc and refreshable reports to help with root cause analysis or to streamline related processes

• Conduct audits, including physical and data audits, on inventory and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

• Work with customer service staff and other members of the warehouse, as necessary

• Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, management, and staff to produce positive results and sustain relationships

May Also:

• Use of forklifts and electric hand jacks in a safe and efficient manner, obeying all operating procedures and safety regulations.

• Completing daily forklift inspections, complying with OSHA regulations

• Manage efficient product moves within Refrigerators

Qualifications-requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree within supply chain or business management preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in managing inventory, raw materials, etc.

• Solid understanding of distribution environments, including purchasing, inventory and warehouse operations

• Good interpersonal skills and keen attention to detail

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers

• Advanced computer skills including MRP/ERP, Microsoft Office, Access; JDE experience preferred
